1. When e-mail arrives, my system gives me an audio "zing" to let me know. I
like that.

2. I've got quite a collection of "message rules" that automatically send
e-mail I receive from particular addresses directly into my Junk E-mail or
Deleted Items folders.

Question: Is there some way to set things up so I get an audio alert ONLY
when e-mails I receive STAY in my Inbox? In other words, I'd like e-mails
that are sent directly into Junk or Deleted folders NOT to alert me. Or, put
yet a third way: I'd like that audio alert to mean, "You've just received an
e-mail that you WANT to look at."

Impossible, right?

Impossible is right. No way to do that in Windows Mail.

No, you can't. Or yes, it's impossible.

Right now such is not available. Just for OE there is my OETune program
(www.oehelp.com/OETUNE/) which does the opposite, so one might not say that
its impossible.
