Problems with Uninstalling Software

Indeed....

I had a complex, detailed, analytical reply typed here... then I thought..
whats the use.. this guy doesn't have a clue what I am talking about..
and you would go on making fun of things you have no comprehension about...
So I erased it and just typed "shut up fool".

Its not my fault... give me a sign of intelligence and then we can
communicate.

You still do!

Must have thought all night for that!

Twice within 2 days, that's improvement, you're Clonazepam must be kicking in.

Ahhh, that's once again where you're mislead. I understand as well as anyone,
with the exception of your therapists', and only they can help you overcome your
issues, well, that along with the Clonazepam, Zoloft and Oxycodone HCI.

Hope you kept a copy, wouldn't want to have you thinking again.

Can no do, it's something you have to work out on your own if you ever want to
evolve.

<snip to save you a a millionth of a trillionth of a second of download
time>

If you are dialup, that 'millionth of a trillionth' becomes a second
or two. Multiply that by every post that someone fails to properly
trim and you've got significant 'wasted' time. :/

ANYWAY!!! Going back to Brian A's post on 9/3/06...

"Newsgroups are not about solicitation by those that help, they're
about
helping the user in resolving their issue with the assistance of all
involved in
the newsgroup."

Has ANYONE managed to help Janine with her problem? I would like help
with the same problem, but it is obvious I will not find it here.

All I see on this group is a bunch of egos attacking each other,
completely ignoring the whole reason that this group exists-- to assist
each other with problems like Janine's. I won't be consulting this
forum again.

JANINE: here is a solution I found. I have not tried it yet, so I don't
know how safe it is, but (perhaps) one of these more computer-savvy
people can verify whether or not it is a good idea. That is, of course,
if they can stray from the current discussion.

SOLUTION:
Use Windows Explorer to navigate your way to: C:\Program
Files\Logitech.
Then search that folder for DELDEV.EXE.

Then DELETE that file. Yes, that's right; delete DELDEV.EXE

In this folder: "C:\Program Files\Logitech\QuickCamWebInstall" you will
find
"setup.exe". Just run that and you'll be good to go.

I responded every time the OP posted back. No one knows since the OP never
mentioned what worked or not.

That's your choice, although if you look back you will see I never ignored the
OP or the issue at hand.

If the OP happens to be monitoring the thread, perhaps it will solve the issue
if nothing else worked. Thankyou for providing a solution that may help.
