Problems with downloading files

Hi,

I have problems downloading files. Be it upgrades for the
firewall, updates for games or other software, I either
get an error message or the download starts and then
breaks up after a while. When I click on the downloaded
file, I get a message that the file is corrupted.

What now?

Empty the contents of your temporary internet folder (C: Drive Documents and
Settings > "Your Username" > Local Settings) restart the computer and try
again, also empty the contents of your temp folder in the name location.
