Corrupted compressed files

Ok strange one, started happening last night

Every file whether it be .zip .rar .7zip I always get a corrupt file error

No idea why. Tried a registry sweep. Tried downloading files again

Nothing works. What I also noticed upon downloading files the last 10% or so seems to hang.
Absolutely no reason for it that I know of. Then just starts again

When trying to open files they are corrupt

Any suggestions?

Browser? What are you using to un zip?

Using Chrome

I have Winrar, 7zip installed non of which seem to make a difference

I was ok upto yesterday afternoon

I also had an issue where'as I would open an item eg Control panel and it would drop straight to the task bar. If i clicked on it it just stayed there, wouldn't move. Infact I remember all system items that were opened dropped/collapsed straight down I wasn't able to bring the windows up onto desktop

That issue has been resolved (for now)
