Problems upgrading Premium to Business

R

Randy

I'm trying to upgrade from Vista Home Premium to Business, but the option is
grayed out and it only provides an option to install it on a partition. The
message I get is below.

"you cannot upgrade from Windows Vista Home Premium to Windows Home Visa
Business. You can upgrate to Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista
Ultimate."

What do I need to do in order to upgrade? This is on a new Acer laptop and
the upgrade advisor says it's compatible.

The is no direct upgrade path to Vista Business from
Vista Home Premium. A clean install would be required.
Vista Ultimate would be the best choice if you wish
to upgrade to the features found in Vista Business.
