Problems setting up ICS

Guest

Before installing SP2 and automatic updates I could set up ICS using the
network wizard ok.

Now when I try to setup the ICS manually i get the Error : RPC service not
available error 1722.

Using the wizard I just get "an error has occured"

There are no events logged.

shared files on the shared machine are accessable.
Internet content on the broadband is available on the master machine.

I have checked services running and ALL seems correct.

I say AGAIN this USED to work before SP2 and all the automatic updates since.

ICS depends on the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service. Have you
verified that RPC is running and is configured to start automatically?

Can you enable ICS manually, without using the Wizard, in the Internet
connection's Properties | Advanced?
