problems sending mail

When I send a message it goes into the outbox but does not get sent, even
when I do send / receive. I have to exit Windows mail and start up again for
message to be sent.

Hi
If you have "desktop SMS" installed on your computer, uninstall it, restart
and try your sending and receiving etc.
Worked for me.

Click on Tools, then Options, then Send. If there is no check mark in the
box before Send messages immediately, click on this box and then Apply.
Click on OK.
