Sending e-mail in Windows Mail

Cathie Johnson

All of a sudden I cannot send e-mails in Windows Mail (Vista Op System).
All my messages go into the Outbox where it notes that they are sent, but
they never leave the Outbox, and they are never received. They never show
up in the Sent folder. I can receive, but cannot reply or send!

I have tried the Windows Mail help to no avail.

Can you move those messages from the Outbox to the Drafts folder?
If one is 'stuck' and can't be deleted, try the Microsoft fix:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090
"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a
computer that is running Windows Vista"

That page offers two download options. Unless you know for sure
you have 64-bit Vista, use the 32-bit option.
