can't send e-mails

the e-mails I create remain in my outbox w/o being sent. When I exit out a
pop-up asks me if I want to send what's in my outbox and I answer "yes" but
they still aren't sent. I can reply to my e-mails but I cannot create new
mail. I have one message in my outbox that i am unable to delete. When I
try to delete a pop-up tells me that an unknown error has occurred. I think
if I could somehown delete this message the problem might go away. Help

Open the Outbox folder. Move as many of the Outbox messages
as you can to he Drafts folder. If any won't move or can't be deleted,
apply this Microsoft fix:

If you still get an error message when you attempt to send, copy it
and post the complete error message here.

As I stated in my request for help, I have already downloaded and installed
the Microsoft fix and still have the same problem. Is there anything else I
can do?

Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a computer
that is running Windows Vista

If the Microsoft fix did not work, then your best remaining option is to
upgrade to Windows Live Mail:
