Problems returning from standby

Running an Asus P4C800-E Deluxe - Win XP Pro SP1 with all
critical updates. Sometimes computer will not return
from standby. Press a key on the keyboard and the system
looks like it may return - disk drive is accessed and
fans turn on but no video displayed and the system will
not function. Any clues. Have a single SATA utilizing
the onboard SATA1 port (Intel based not Promise) and
running onboard sound. Latest BIOS and drivers.

Try reinstalling your video drivers, then reboot.
