problems installing spybot

I am havin problems installing spybot....i had it installed on my computer
previously but ran into some problems with my computer so i had to uninstall
a bunch of programs and have been reinstalling them. However with spybot...it
wont let me. There is a error message that pops up saying :

error creating registry key:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.disabled

RegCreateKeyEx failed; code 5.
Access is denied.

Click Retry to try again, Ignore to proceed anyway, or abort to cancel
installation.

i have tried to hit retry and it says it again, ignore makes the program
mess up. I have tried to clean the cookies and cache on my computer, the
histroy. Somebody please help!!!

Delete the file you have and download a new copy of Spybot Search &
Destroy.

you cant delete it. i've tried deleting it in every place possible
