Spybot problems

I'm not sure this is the right NG for this, but I'll give the details
anyway.
After a recent re install of WinXP and all software, I also install
SpyBot S&D 3.4. Since then, whenever I install any other sofware, SpyBot
stops any registry change by that installation. Ok I know that is
something to do with Security? but I'm not sure where to look. Alos Now
when I run SpyBot, it gives me a list of programs which I installed
since SpyBot.
I have never had this before, so what needs to be done here to correct
this problem?

Ok thanks, but where do I turn it off? I have unchecked the box
in'Resident Tea-Timer' but it still says it is active.

Your next step would be to visit the Spybot Search and Destroy Website,
since this isn't a Windows XP issue.

Or uninstall Spybot S&D and reinstall, this time do not elect to run it in
Tea Timer or immunize your system.

in'Resident Tea-Timer' but it still says it is active.

Turn it off in the "tools" section .
