I had spybot installed on my windows xp - I uninstalled it and have been
trying to re-install it - keep getting a message that it is already
installed on my system but it lets me install anyway - when I get up to the
end of the install I get this error message : An error occurred while trying
to replace the existing file: DeleteFile failed: code 5. Access is denied.
I can find no trace of Spybot on my system - have deleted all items in the
registry - how can I get rid of
whatever is preventing me from wiping out the old file and installing the
new? Thank you in advance for any advice.
