problems after moving windows

I recently moved windows xp pro from 10GB drive to 40GB drive. I cloned
using Ghost, but still had to reinstall windows using the repair option on
the CD to get it to boot from the new drive. Everything seemed to be working
ok at first, but then I tried using my scanner and found that it no longer
works. The scanner is accessed via an wireless network connection and works
fine with my other computer. It worked fine with mine before I moved
windows. I also noticed that the graphics are messed up one of my games.
The program runs, but does not display correctly like it did before I moved
windows. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both the scanner and game software
and drivers, but it did no good. It seems to me that some windows file(s)
must not have copied or reinstalled correctly, but I don't know how to figure
out which. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Forget the 3rd party junk,xp can clone youre hd with software already
installed
on it,simply format youre new hd,have the hd as slave on the same IDE cable
as C: Once formatted,go to run,type:XCOPY C:\*.* D:\ /c/h/e/k/r
Agree to all in the DOS window, also,D: being the new hd,if asigned diffrent
letter, then use that instead...Once the DOS window quits youre thru...

More nonsense from our resident troll, Andrew E. It's well known that that
is not a reliable method. This documented in lots of places, but read here,
for example: ttp://www.uv.tietgen.dk/staff/mlha/Pc/Soft/DOS/xcopy.htm

I agree with Ken - forget about "xcopy". Using Ghost correctly should
not have been problematic. Ghost has the option of "complete backup" or
"cloning". You did not state so - but did you replace the 10 gig with the
40 gig as master drive? The fact you had to use the recovery console may
suggest otherwise.
