Problem

G'day all.
Would appreciate help on this message which results from a Norton diagnostic
run,

Missing File: "C:\Program Files\Common
Files\InstallShield\Professional\RunTime\09\01\Intel32\DotNetInstaller.exe"
cannot access a necessary file, "mscoree.dll".

What is the effect of this missing file and how can it be obtained if it is
needed for satisfactory operation? Am running XP Home Edition with Service
Pack 2 installed.
Thanks for assistance
Regards to all

You can extract the file from the i386 folder on your XP CD to
C:\windows\system32\mscoree.dll
from a cmd window:

extract D:\i386\mscoree.dll c:\windows\system32\mscoree.dll

D: assumes to be the letter of your optical drive, adjust if yours
is different.
