Problem with showing video in Powerpoint 2003

I have been trying to make a video (mpg) run in Powerpoint 2003. The
particular slideshow it is imbedded in is over 100 slides long. The video
runs fine if there are only a few slides, but when imbedded on one slide in
the 100 slide show, it refuses to run.
Has anyone out there encountered this problem? Did you solve it and how?

Hi

First off, just to avoid any confusion, video is never embedded in a 2003
file, it is always linked. But to your issue... It could be a file path
length issue - try creating a folder directly on your C drive, move the
video & ppt to it then reinsert the video.

An other idea
Put a short name on your video
Encode it as a wmv file (you can use SUPER-free- to do so)
