Problem with printer to computer

When I am in Microsoft works - word processing and I am trying to type a
document. It prints it out as a fax how do I convert it back to print?
Please help
 
Choose your printer from the drop down menu. You should also go to the
printer folder and make your printer the default instead of the fax.
