Problem with messages.cant see them!!!

i have got a problem with finding new received messages. I just started to
use Windows mail. Made a new account. After downloading messages from mail
server to Windows mail, there are only 20 messages in the INBOX.All of them
are very old. In fact, on my mail server there were about 300 messages. It
seems that all my old and new messages that were downloaded just disappeared
somewhere. Because I can't find them. Please, help me. How can i find them?
very important information for me was in those letters. Also now there are
no messages at all in a mail server on the internet.

Go to View | Current View | Show all messages. If you still can't find
them, then check the junk email folder. If you still can't find them, then
search for *.eml.
