Problem with Forwarding rule - OFFICE 2000 OUTLOOK

Have Outlook 2000 here at work (Internet only - no server).

I set up an e-mail on my local isp for a new committee I am on, with the basic idea that any e-mail sent to that address would be auto-forwarded to the entire commitee. I set up a rule that reads as follows:

Apply this rule after the message arrives
When received through the ABCMAILLIST account
Forward it {lotso names here cos DL's don't work for some reason}
and move it to the ABCMAILLIST MAILINGS folder.

Now, when I SEND an e-mail to ABCMAILLIST, it auto-forwards just fine.. no problemo.

BUT, when a person REPLIES to the e-mail, which will happen a bit, the darn thing just won't auto-forward the reply.

I checked and rechecked to make sure that the reply is coming to the ABCMAILLIST account, and it is, but for the life of me I can't figure out why it's not auto-forwarding replies. The rule SEEMS to be working, as it does still move the reply to the correct folder.

Any thoughts???

A PS to my post:

Is there any way to tell outlook to NOT put the FW: at the front of the subject line?

Not a major thing, but curious cos I thought you could.

Outlook only forwards once to avoid problems with mailstorms, so the replies
won't be forwarded. No on the FW question.

It would be better for a number of reasons to set up a mailing list at
yahoogroups.com for your group. You can make it private and by invite only -
and it's free.

Yes, it will work like you want it to. Everyone will send mail to
(e-mail address removed) and the server sends it out to the members.
