Problem with EXCEL 2000

J

John Pecora

I have Excel loaded on my home pc and my new Dell laptop.
They both use XP. PROBLEM is if I create form on laptop
which is whole page, when I use same form on home pc it
prints on 2 pages. I tried setting screen resolution on
both units to 800x600 and DPI both to normal 96DPI. When
I do that the laptop screen becomes huge and cannot be
used easily.
Why can't the laptop be the same as my home pc?

I want to create forms with max page length on my laptop
and be used and printed the same way on my home pc.

I'd guess that it isn't a display problem--it's a printer problem.

Do you use different printers (or even different printer drivers)?

When I have to share workbooks with others who'll print them, I try to make sure
I make the margins fit for worse case.

If you make your margins a little bigger, it might look a little weird on the
"nice" printer, but it'll print ok on both.
