Hi all,

I've an unusual problem. Just received notification that
I had a critical update and when I checked, it said it
took approx 1.9mb and 1 min to download.

Once I clicked on download, I then received (after about 3
minutes) another manager screen, and it downloaded and
downloaded for over an hour.

Instead of taking 1.9mb as it said, it took almost 2gigs
of my hard drive.

Does anyone know how to reverse this process, or why it
took sooooo much of my hard drive space?

Answer please to (e-mail address removed)

Thanks to all

Arnold;
What was the update?
Some updates work in a 2 part process similar to what you describe.
The used space seems a little high but it may just be uninstall files
easily deleted with Disk Clean-up.

Sounds suspicious to me. Did you receive an e-mail telling you about update?
