Problem setting up email account

I recently subscribed to Verizon Online DSL. I can recieve email, but I
cannot get my system configured so that I can send email. In the email
account setup window if I pick "Test Account Settings" I get an error message
that says "Unable to send test message. Please verify Email address field."

Please check if you have insert the right Email, Username, Password!
