Problem sending in Windows Mail

Hi,

Can somebody help me. I have a new PC with Windows Vista. I installed Office
97 (I've used it for years) and since then I have not been able to send
emails, they just sit in the outbox. I've uninstalled Office 97 in case
Outlook was causing the problem. I can send mail using web mail so the
problem is not with my ISP. Below is the error message I receive when I
Send/Receive.

"An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'Fw: Can you read this??', Account:
'pop.tiscali.co.uk', Server: 'smtp.tiscali.co.uk', Protocol: SMTP, Server
Response: '554 Sorry, your non-local IP address (86.152.186.181) is not
allowed to send email via me.', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error:
554, Error Number: 0x800CCC6F"

Any help would be appreciated.

Your IP address (in the error message) indicates that you are connected to
Btbroadband.
And you are trying to send email through a Tiscali server. It's saying
"Don't do that".
Many ISP's are now blocking port 25 to computers not connected to their
network.

You need to see if Tiscali has an alternate port to use, or you need to use
Bt's server while connected to their network.
