Is the outgoing mail server being provided by your ISP, may not allow
connections to the sending server unless you are directly connected to their
service, I have heard it as "Port 25 blocking". You may want to check their
web page and see if they offer an alternate Port, so that you can access
their outgoing Mail Server. It could be listed under business or vacation
travelers information. You may need to change some settings in Outlook, to
allow for SMTP server Authenication and/or SSL encryption. But they should
list the setting there in the help pages.

Im on holiday and are connected to internet in my hotel. I can receive
e-mails but not send. I get the error 554 following by my e-
mailadress. I have the right smtp outgoing server in settings for my
account.
Have any experienced this problem?
