I am currently using outlook 2007. When sending an e-mail, I receive an
error message 554: relay access denied. How do I resolve this problem?

Configure Outlook to authenticate to the SMTP server.

Regarding error messages:
- Do NOT omit the error message.
- Do NOT describe an error message.
- Do NOT summarize an error message.
- Do NOT paraphrase an error message.
- Do NOT truncate an error message.
- Do show the ENTIRE message (but munge/star out personal info,
like your username).

That was all you got? There would've also been headers but you only
showed [a portion of] the body of the NDR (non-delivery report). My
guess is that your own mail server sent you this NDR which could be seen
by looking at the headers.
How do you I resolve this problem?

See first line of my prior reply.

That's not the typical server name for an SBC Yahoo mail server. The usual
names are pop.att.yahoo.com and smtp.att.yahoo.com. Where did you get the
name you posted?

Good news. That's not a cause I would have guessed.
