problem in copy paste command and no icon displayed in my network places

dear all,
i have a strange kind of problem in all over my office
network (all are windows 2000 computers), the problem is in
some computers in my office network users cant copy
anything, when the users select an item and place a copy
command then they want to paste it they find that the paste
button is disabled, and the other problem is when the users
enter in their my network places they cant find any icon,
but the status bar says some items in their but they are
invesible, if they restart the computer then it gets normal
position after day one or two the same problem occure
again, we installed the microsft supplied patch for blaster
worm and also installed service pack 3 or 4, i cant
understand that whats the problem is, if any one help me i
will be greatful to him. thank you very much.

Is it possible that you are still infected with blaster? It does mess up
copy paste. There is a nice little checker/fixer on the Symantec site that
you can download onto a 'clean' PC .
