Problem encountered editing a layered TIF file from PSA in Photoshop

I suspected that my Photoshop layers were disappearing for TIF files for
which I had requested Photoshop
editing from Photoshop Albumn. I ran a basic test adding only one adjustment
layer in PS 7 and saving the file.
Then when I asked PSA to edit that same file with Photoshop, my layer was no
longer in my file.

Has anyone else encountered this?
