Problem copying files

Hi,

I've searched the knowledge base and this forum but can't find any help for
this problem.

Running windows XP pro + service pack 2 all of a sudden I can't send files
to my CD or DVD drive. Every time I try I get the message 'Windows
encountered a problem when trying to copy this folder. What do you want
windows to do?'

I get the option to Retry - Skip or Cancel but none of the options do
anything and the file doesn't copy to the DVD drive.

Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

I don't think you have giving enough info, but if you have had your
computer a while and have upgraded windows, then you will also need to
upgrade your hardware drivers. You can go to the website of the
manufacturers of your drives and look for updates and install them. Do this
for all of your hardware. Everything has to stay in tune.
There is codecs, firmware, drivers and patches. Be sure you have what you
need to bring your computer up to dat eand if the computer has been brought
up to date be sure to bring the hardware within it up to date as well.
