Problem after interupted download

Was downloading xp home upgrade from pop up and download
stopped before finished. Juno says I should have turned
off the speedband. since this happened only part of juno's
e-mail page opens (middle of page is missing) and i can
get on line but can not open web sites. Can send e-mail
but can not open received mail. also, can not open Encarta-
says it's going to close and does. Help subjects can be
sellected in Printshop but do not open. i am sure there
other problems but these are ones i have noticed. Machine
is Sony notebook. Sony had me restore but did not help.
Tried reinstalling encarta and Juno but did not help.
anybody got any idea what is going on here. Bob B.

What do you mean "upgrade from pop up"? There isn't any such thing,
unless you're talking about system updates from MS Windows Update. If
restoring didn't help and you stuffed up your operating system
installation, reinstall Windows. Please post back with exactly what you
were doing for more help.
