problem adding reservation to DHCP server

Trying to add standard reservation to an existing scope - Getting event 1014

The description for Event ID ( 1014 ) in Source ( DhcpServer ) cannot be
found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or
message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following
information is part of the event: -1017, JetGetValue:RetrieveColumn1.

Is this a corrupt DHCP DB? Or is there a way I can troubleshoot without
restoring?

Thanks
Blake

Sounds like an RPC error or Service Pack (versioning etc.)
problem.

It sounds like you never got (fully) connected to the
DHCP server from the MMC.

What OS/version/Service Packs are you running?

Try re-installing the AdminPak.msi on the managment
station.

If this is an XP, I believe you need to install the version
from Win2003 Server and if it is Win2000 you need the
one from a Win2000 DC/server.
