Moving dhcp from NT to 2000 - service does not start

Hi there!
I'm moving a dhcp database from a windows NT4 server to a 2000 server and
I'm stuck with a problem I can't figure out. I have followed the KB article
130642 (move database and restore registry key). When starting the dhcp
server service on the target server (win2000), it does not start. I get the
following error:

The DHCP Server service is starting...
The DHCP Server service could not be started.
A system error has occurred.
System error 1067 has occurred.
The process terminated unexpectedly.

Errors in the system log are:

Event id 1004
The DHCP service failed to initialize the database. The following error
occurred:
The DHCP database needs to be upgraded to the current Jet format.
Look at the DHCP service event log for more information.

Event id 1014
The JET Database call returned the following error : -1212. Additional
Debug Information: AttachDatabase.

Event id 7031
The DHCP Server service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 10
time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 30000
milliseconds: No action.

I am logged on to the server as domain admin and I have authorized the
win2000 server as dhcp server i AD.
