how would one set up a windows 2000 machine to have a
default network printer set up for every user on a
network, so that when they log on for the first time the
printer is ready to go
 
On each workstation Install a LOCAL queue using a Local
port with the UNC path to the shared queue on the server,
or Install a Local Queue Using an LPR port to the shared
queue on the server. Local queues carry across all users
that log in to that machine.
