printing problem from "My Pictures"

I've been printing photos from "My Pictures"...and now I
can not choose "colour"...in the "printing preferences".

What I see is a grey dot in the colour circle, but it
does not print in colour...sort of black and white.

I've tried the printer properties and done the tests and
alignments...all seems good.

I've shut the computer off and on several times...

The last thing I printed in colour came out really
bad...mostly red and streaky...this followed 3 or 4
really good printed pages. Now this problem.

I have a lexmark 3200 printer...that I've been using for
3 months...as long as I've had Windows XP and this
computer.

Any ideas?

Sounds like it's time to replace the colour cartridge ...
