Hi there we are having an issue with printing in Power Point. Everytime we
print whether it be in B&W or be it in colour the text that has been placed
in the powerpoint slide shifts to the right of the slide and cuts off the
rest of the wording from printing. I have uploadd the latest drivers, my pc
updates every morning on the website and I have checked with HP and had an
online chat with the technician to solve the problem but it seems like it
must be something to do with the program as the have confirmed that
everything s 100% on the printer.

Somebody please help ????

I'm wondering if you don't have something ("invisible" text, graphics)
outside the normal margins of the PPT slide. When you're in normal view,
click CTRL - A to highlight everything on the slide - this will reveal if
anything is in your margins.

You may also want to do this in your slide masters.

Thanks for the assistance but it did not help I can only think each sentence
needs to be placed in its own individual text box in order for it to print
out correctly as this is what I had to do the last time as well - the only
problem is doing this on 50 slides can become quite painfull

yes we have two printers on the network and for some reason both print
exactly in the same wrong way - perhaps I coud send you one slide of the
presentation to print and you could let me know how it prints?

Choose Format, Replace fonts. That will open a dialog box with two list boxes.
Open the upper list box and check each of the listed fonts.

Is there a "?" icon next to any of them? If so, that means that the font
needed by the presentation isn't available on your computer and that PPT has
substituted a different font. When printing, a still different font might be
used, which'd account for things moving around.

If you see ? icons, select that font, then use the lower list box to choose a
replacement font.
