Slide Number in Handouts Print

Using Office 2007

We often print our presentation as handouts with 6 slides per page. It
would be very handy if the slide number could be printed as well. Right
now, we go through with a pen and number the slides 1, 2, 3, etc. Any way
to print the slide number in the handouts print?

Insert a slide number placeholder on your master. Format the font size as
large (e.g. 48 pt), the font color the same as the background. Thus the
number will not be visible during slideshow. Before printing, set the color
of the number placeholder to a color contrasting the background. Print.
Close and do not save the changes.

Best regards,
