printing powerpoint 2002

HI,
When I print a slideshow in powerpoint 2002 it automatically prints straight
awaywhen I select File and then print. I don't get the window with the
options to change print settings eg. no of copies, change printer etc.

This problem only seems to be occuring in powerpoint. Can anyone offer any
suggetions?

From the main menu bar, choose File, Print.
That should always give you the full print dialog box.

Thanks Steve, but as I explained I selected File and then Print but it goes
straight to the printer without bringing up the dialog box.

Sorry, missed that.

Is there any chance your menus have been customized or that you have any add-ins
loaded that might affect printing?

What happens when you press Ctrl + P instead?
