printing on network restarts computer

I have a Windows 2000 desktop and an XP laptop. I
finally got the network setup and tried to print from the
laptop to the printer connected to the desktop. The
desktop restarted. Any ideas? TIA.

Does this happen every time you print, or did it happen only once?
Are there any entries in the Event Viewer (right-click My Computer, left-click "Manage")?
