Printing Files/Folders AND the Properties Info

Hi

I'm up to speed in printing files/folders from Windows Explorer using the DOS/ BAT approach, the direct printer dump or the copy & screen dump to Paint & then print. The last one gets at what I'm trying to do, but not in a usable form. Microsoft documents like DOCs or PPTs, etc. and even PDFs can contain metadata as "Properties" this can be shown in a rightclick on the file. Also you can change the headers in Explorer to show this metadata (like title, comments or keywords). All the above Directory print programs don't capture the Properties info and the Print/Screen approach is not too useful for what I'm trying to do (sort, arrange, etc.). Question: Is there a simple File/folder Directory printer (to a printer or a file) type program that also captures these Properties (the metadata information) as well as the File/Folder info ?

I hate to say it but I don't think what you want is available. If it was,
surely someone would have piped in by now? Office has a feature that will
print the Summary and Comments only for Office items. From Word's Help
file: On the File menu, click Print. In the Print what box, click Document
properties.

For graphics (and probably other multimedia files), I believe there are
applications that specialize in printing out metafile data (date, aperture,
etc). Not familiar with any by name but if needing something for these kind
of files, a question in a newsgroup dedicated to the graphics or the
multimedia applications involved would probably yield some results for you.
