Printing Error

Hi there,

I have a customer wih the following problem:

They received a legitimate email from a supplier and
printed out the pdf file. However at that point the
previously well functioning printers gave an error
message and printed out an error page, then the printers
disappear from the Printers and Faxes folder and the PC
requires a reboot to make them reappear but then the
error message comes back when you try to print and the
printers disappear again.

However the rest of the system works fine. The operating
system is Windows XP Pro. The error message is:

Spooler Subsystem App has encountered a problem and needs
to close:
Error signature:
SZ Name: spoolsv.exe
SZ App Ver: 5.1.2.6.00.0
SZ Mod Name: ntdll.dll
SZ Mod Ver: 5.1.2.6.00.1217
Offset: 00033AED

Any Ideas? Is it a case of reinstalling Windows or could
I just uninstall the printing part of Windows and
reinstall it etc?
