Printing Error

I recently bought a new printer and experiencing installation problems. I removed the previous printer and installed the new one according to the manufactured instruction. The installation seemed to go fine, I get the icon stating the printer is ready, but any attempt to print a test page or document results in the same error: "Test page failed to print. Would you like to view the print troubleshooter for assistance? Cannot create a file when that file already exists" Any suggestions. thank you

Which printer did you uninstall? What is the new printer? How is the
printer connected to the computer? What is the exact Port name that the
printer is printing to? Does this name exist in Windows\system32?
