Printers

Hi,

Have any of you folks noticed for clean installations of
Windows XP Pro that printers on a network will
automatically be displayed in the Printers Applet, without
having to add them manually? As mentioned, this is a
clean installation and not an upgrade.

I would love to know more about how this works, however I
have been unable to locate any information on it. Does
anyone have some insight on how this works?

Hi,

I've noticed the same thing and thort .. wow !
I have a main desktop PC upstairs with a local printer
attached and a wireless connected laptop. The printer
upstairs appears on the laptop automatically.

Maybe this is a workgroup thing ??
