Printers Deleted - Can't Add Printer

My printers were deleted due to unknown cause (I wasn't in
the printer window at the time) and when I try "Add
Printer" I get the error message:

"Out of Resources"
"Printer operation cannot continue due to lack of
resources. Printer sub system not available."

Any ideas how I can overcome this situation?
