installed printers gone cannot install new printer

I rid my computer of a nasty spyware program using hijackthis only to find I
may have eliminated important sub systems. Specifically my installed printers
are gone and when I attempt to add a printer I receive the message "PRINTER
OPERATION CANNOT CONTINUE DUE TO LACK OF RESOURCES. THE PRINT SYSTEM IS
UNAVAILABLE. Any quick solution to this and perhaps my other likely to be
discovered problems.

Try re-starting printer spooler
like "NET START SPOOLER"
