Printer Subsystem unavailable

Chris

I have recently installed a printer driver for HP400.
Ever since that install I have been unable to view
printers in my printer window. An error message states
that Printer option can not continue due to lack of system
resources. The print subsystem is unavailable.

Hi - I had updated my Windows 2000 server's version of Citrix X
Metaframe to Citrix Service Pack 3 and lost my ability to autocreat
client printers. I searched Citrix user groups for the issue and th
only things I could find were the configuration steps that I ha
checked and double checked... I then tried to create a printer on th
Citrix server and it said I didnot have the resources and that m
printer subsystem unavailable...

type
net start spooler
from a cmd window.

Was the ticket. My print spooler had benn stopped by the upgrad
process. As soon as I started the spooler the client printers starte
populating...

I thank Alan and I am typing this to help consolidate the two seemingl
unrelated issues...:eek :
