Can't attache printer

When I try and attache a local printer (using windows
2000 Prof.) i get the following message. PRINTER
OPERATION CANNOT CONTINUE DUE TO LACK OF RESOURCES. THE
PRINT SUBSYSTEM IS UNAVAILABLE. Need help.

It sounds like the Print Spooler service is not started. We need to check to this and if it is not started try to start it. If it gives
an error when we try to start it post the error here.
