I installed my Hewlet Packard 970cxi printer using the
wizard, even though the printer is a plug in. Now I am
having trouble with the width of the page, the text is
giberrish. It also takes a long time for the printer to
process the information. Also I am only getting a maximun
of two lines per page in giberrish. Can you help me
troubleshoot this?

Sounds like you are using an incorrect driver. If i
remember correctly, the 970 comes in both parallel and USB
configurations, make sure you are using the appropriate
driver for the appropriate config. There is also an
update to the driver located on HPs website:

Hope this helps.
