is it possible to install my new lewmark printer on a
small home network without hooking the printer to a
computer directly for example computer a is in room a and
computer b is in room and i hope to have the printer in a
different room altogher only connected by a network
connection cable.

Sure. You're connecting the printer to one of the computers with a cable.
It will work just as if it were connected any other way.

all you need is a print server (example is intel netport express) which is
on ebay for about $15. with this you do not need the host machine on, all pc
on your network can print direct

Yes use a printer server. Check the one you buy will work with your printer
by visiting the manufacturers web site first.
You might even consider a wireless printer server.
