printer won't print "Front to Back"

I can not get the printer to print pages front to back,
ie 1,2,3,4,5, even though I have the print preferences
set to print that way. I have changed the settings and
then changed them back, restarted, and so on, nothing
works. Any help would be appreciated...thanks.

Many, many printers are not equipped to print front to back. Have you
checked your Printers Manuel?

Do you have a current, XP-compatible driver for your printer?

This is a function of the printer drivers. The drivers included with XP
are usually very basic and do not have advanced features. Go to the
printer mftr.'s website and look for XP drivers and software.
