Printer Sharing Problem in WIn 2k

Hi there,

I have a network where all machines are Win 2k Pro and are all part of the
same workgroup. There is one shared printer, a canon lasterjet i2100, and it
is hooked directly to one system. 2 out of the 4 machines are locked in on
this on print server, however the other 2 keep getting the access denied
report. I have checked my permissions and all of the connected machines are
set up the same and should have the same permissions for the printer. Now,
if I try and connect to any other resource or shared folder on this system I
the print server will not allow access from these same two PCs and the other
two are fine. Any clues here? Not sure what I could be missing. Anyway,
Thanks for the help.

Does the computer with the printer attached have user accounts with the
names (and passwords, if used) that are used to log onto the other two PCs?

Hey Richard, thanks for the response. I actually looked into your other
extended post with a gent with the same problem. I am pretty sure it is just
a permissions issue, like his, I think I will have to reset the users and
passwords as they don't seem to be setup right. Thanks for the post, though.
