Printer share problem

I have had a printer share from an old w95 machine for almost 2 years
now. Today I lost the connection when McAfee was removed from the w95
machine. After re-installing, drivers included, on my w98se machine the
connection was re-established and all is well. For my w2kpro machines
this does not seem to solve the problem as I cannot seem to get the
machine to fetch new drivers. It seems to insist on using the ones it
find "on file." How do I force w2kpro to replace the local drivers from
the earlier installation?

You could open print server and delete them there. R-click Printers and
faxes, Open, File, Server Properties, Drivers tab, select and remove or
replace as you see fit.

I went up on Canon and downloaded the latest drivers from their site.
Did as you directed below. Re-installed the network printer. Same
problem. Can't see the printer on the W95b machine. I have also sent a
query to Canon Tech support to see if they have any ideas. I also
notice they do not have a driver on their site for W95 only W97+.

If drivers don't support Win 95 that might be tough to get around. You
will want the share name of the printer to be less than 13 characters
and no spaces in it either for the old Win9x boxes too.
